The Dog Park in Lewiston finally opened yesterday (7/20). Really nice facility. Was there this AM for a couple hours with Spirit. We met "Maggy" and "Harlot" , two more Goldendoodles from Lewiston. It has been pretty busy because its been so long in coming. Saturday, if its nice, will probably be really busy. If you come to the park anytime, be sure to bring water (none is available in the park). Haven't figured out how to have an "unofficial" Doodle Day. Glad to see any doodles there!

Hi

We are interested in adopting a medium size red doodle. Are you accepting deposits on that litter and when will those pups be ready for adoption?
Thanks

This is a shout out to any folks in Lewiston who have Goldendoodles from Susan or Sonya. The dog park in Lewiston should by open around the middle of June. It'd be fun to all meet there one day and have a "Doodle reunion". Let me know what you think of the idea. "Spirit" out of Tucker & Roxie is a little over 20 months old and LOVES running, retrieving a tennis ball, and most of all, catching a Floppy Frisby!

Ernie,
Please keep me posted about the reunion. I have Dixie (Photos34-36) who is now almost 5. She gets along with all dogs, cats and people. We live in the Wells/Kennebunk area, and so do several other Doodles from Sue and Sonya. Keep posting here; if we shout out loud enough maybe there will be a great turnout!

Park is located on Strawberry Avenue in Lewiston between the emergency Vet Clinic and the new Humane Society Shelter Facility. We're shooting for a mid June opening... pending completion of construction of a few of the nice amenities which will be there (two Gazebos), Pooper stations, etc. There are two adjacent fenced in areas (one for under 30# dogs and one for over 30# dogs).

Hey, our golden doodle was sired by JD with Casey...he's such a delight! Shannon amazes us by his intelligence. We're delighted with him!

Here's an update on Jesse, our boy. He recently received his Canine Good Citizen's certificate, and is on his way to becomming a therapy dog. I got the OK from our principal to let him work at our school, to help motivate kids to read and for kids with behavior issues to pet and snuggle. We'll also be visiting the elderly at nursing homes this summer, because Jesse loves people of all ages. He was the runt of the litter, weighing 6 pounds at 8 weeks old, and is now a whopping 61 pounds. Our dog trainer encourages us to bring him to the weekly dog socialization sessions so he can teach the other dogs how to play and behave. I love him so much, and can't wait to spend the summer with him and our dog/people friends hiking and swimming. Thanks, Sonya for such a wonderful dog!

They would be brother and sister. My boy's parents were JD and Daisy. How big is your girl? Wilson is quite a big boy and oh so wonderful!
