Puppies are sold with a Spay/Neuter Contract, unless discussed and agreed upon before purchase.

Non-refundable deposits of $200 will hold your pick. This deposit does go toward the total price. Remainder is due at time of pick- up in cash. If paying by check must be received by the time puppy is six weeks of age.

Cash, Paypal, or checks are accepted. If paying by Check, must receive final payment by 6 weeks of age to allow for time to clear before pick-up. There is a 3.5% fee for using paypal, for that is what they charge us.

Puppies are chosen in order of deposits. Puppies will go home with first shots and have been dewormed multiple times.

Puppies are picked and go home at 8 weeks of age.

If puppies are not picked up at 8 weeks of age, there will be a $25 a day board fee added to total cost of puppy.

We reserve the right to keep first pick from any litter for the future of our breeding program.

GOLDENDOODLES OF MAINE
Pet Canine Purchase and Sales Agreement and Health Guarantee
The following agreement, hereinafter referred to as this “Agreement” is made between Goldendoodles of Maine, hereinafter referred to as “Seller” and _________________________
_____________________(name, address, phone and email) hereinafter referred to as “Buyer”.
In Consideration for the payment of the non-refundable deposit of $200 which has been previously paid by Buyer to Seller on __________ and the remaining balance of $________, which constitutes the purchase price of said Canine listed below, Seller transfers to Buyer as of the date and time specified below (Hereinafter referred to as the “Date of Transfer”), all title, rights, privileges and responsibilities associated with the ownership of said canine described below (Hereinafter referred to as “Canine”).
Buyer shall indemnify and hold Seller harmless from injury to anyone or damage to any property which may be caused directly or indirectly by the canine after the Date of Transfer.
Canine described as a Female/Male F1/b Goldendoodle Born on ___________ From Sire _________ (_______) and Dam _______ (_________).

Health Guarantee
This Canine is guaranteed to be in good health and sound temperament on the Date of Transfer. Buyer shall have the canine examined by a Licensed Veterinarian within 10 days of the Date of Transfer. If the Licensed Veterinarian states in writing that the animal has a health problem that existed in the Canine at the Date of Transfer or if, within one year after Date of Transfer of the Canine by the Buyer, a Licensed Veterinarian states in writing that due to a hereditary or congenital defect(described below) the Canine has died or has a condition that will shorten its life, or will require constant treatment during its life, the Canine is considered to have been unfit for sale at the Date of Transfer. Buyer must notify Seller within 2 business days after receipt of written statement from a Licensed Veterinarian indicating that the Canine is unfit due to a health problem.
The Buyer has the option to:
A- Return the Canine to the seller for a refund of the full purchase price of the animal within 2 business days of notification.
B- Exchange of the Canine for a Canine of the Buyer’s choice of equivalent value, providing a replacement is available; or
C- Retainment of the Canine and reimbursement of up to ½ of the reasonable veterinary fees not to exceed ½ of the original purchase price of the Canine.
The Following Additional Conditions Apply:
While Seller has made every effort to prevent these Defects or Diseases from developing in the Canine, no one can guarantee that they won’t. Seller reserves the right to have Canine Examined by a Licensed Veterinarian of Seller’s Choice, to confirm the Diagnosis at the Seller’s Expense. If Seller’s Licensed Veterinarian disagrees that the Canine suffers from a genetic defect the parties shall agree on a neutral third Licensed Veterinarian, whose decision shall be binding. In the unfortunate event that Canine develops any of the aforementioned Defects or Diseases, and upon receipt of written proof of diagnosis by a Licensed Veterinarian, as described above, Buyer shall be entitled to a full refund of the purchase price of the Canine with exception to the $200 nonrefundable deposit or with a replacement Canine from the next available litter of the same quality. All transportation cost of said Canine or replacement Canine are the responsibility of the Buyer.
In the Case of clinical signs of Hip Dysplasia or Elbow Dysplasia, Buyer shall have said Canine seen by an Orthopedist for Hip x-rays. The A-ray should be permanently identified with registered name and number of Orthopedist making the film and Canines permanent identification on the preliminary OFA report confirming either moderate or severe Hip Dysplasia or grade II or III Elbow Dysplasia. A copy of the X-Ray must be furnished to Goldendoodles of Maine. If there is a Heart Defect or grade 3 or above heart murmur confirmed by echocardiogram, the diagnosis must be confirmed by a letter to Breeder or Breeder’s Veterinarian from a Board-Certified Cardiologist stating that in his/her opinion this condition is congenital. If there is an Eye Defect, the diagnosis must be confirmed by a letter to Breeder or Breeder’s Veterinarian from a Board-Certified Ophthalmologist stating that in his/her opinion this condition is congenital. In the rare event of a confirmed Genetic Defect before the puppy is 1-year-old, as listed above, the Buyer can return the dog to the Breeder for a Refund of the Full Purchase Price of the Canine or a replacement Canine or refund of half the purchase price if retaining the canine. Transportation, Veterinary and Medical care, including all testing and its associated costs are the sole and exclusive responsibility of the Buyer.
This warranty does not cover accidents or issues that are not life threatening or issues than can be cured, such as intestinal parasites (I.E Coccidiosis, Giardia, Tapeworms, Hookworms, round warms) Kennel Cough, Skin and ear bites, allergies, , Viral Illnesses, infections, bites, umbilical hernia, fungal infections, Hypoglycemia, any illness due to ingestion of foreign objects, chemicals or food, physical injury, excessive weight or intense exercise (e.g., jogging, treadmill, stairs, agility training, etc.) or any diseases your puppy has contracted from other animals after it has left our care. This health guarantee is granted to the original buyer only and is not transferable to anyone else.
No guarantees in regard to size, color, coat, shedding, or temperament.
Buyer must show proof from a Licensed Veterinarian that the Canine is clear of Lyme disease, by heart worm testing, and has had regular up to date Lyme shots from the age of 12 weeks old, or this guarantee is null and void. This is due to the fact that Lyme disease can cause irreversible structural damage, joint damage and organ damage to your dog.
In any case, Seller’s liability will never exceed the purchase price of the Canine, for any reason whatsoever.
Buyer’s Agreement
Buyer agrees to maintain this Canine in good health; provide routine preventative health care including, but not limited to, inoculation, internal and external parasites elimination and preventative medication; provide at least one basic obedience training course; provide a safe living environment and healthy diet. Maintain canine’s coat and Veterinary records and obedience records must be provided to Seller if requesting refund. If any of the above preventative care has not been provided, this health guarantee will be void.
Buyer agrees not to resell or otherwise dispose of the canine without first offering the canine back to seller and having an agreement made with Seller for the placement of said Canine. Seller agrees to assist Buyer in finding an appropriate home for the canine. There is no guarantee of any funds to be returned when canine is returned to seller.
Buyer agrees to not breed this Canine for ANY REASON. Buyers will spay or neuter Canine before the age of one year or at advice of their Licensed Veterinarian. Buyer must show proof of a spay/neuter certificate, with a letterhead from a licensed Veterinarian before the said dog’s birthdate of one-year-old, in order to fulfill their end of the contract. If owner cannot provide proof of spay/neuter from licensed Veterinarian by the age of one year, the health guarantee is null and void.
Full and Final Agreement
Buyer and Seller agree that this Agreement represents the entire understanding and agreement between them and that no other representations (written or verbal) have been made regarding the Canine described above. Any amendment of Modification of this agreement must be in Writing and signed by both parties. Any Disputes shall be handled under the laws and jurisdiction of the State of Maine in the Superior Court of Somerset County, Maine.
